New Scientific Review: PFAS, Covid-19, and the Immune System

Our good friends at Safer States, Sierra Club, and Toxic Free Future just published a scientific review regarding the impacts of PFAS exposures on the immune system with a focus on Covid-19. The document seeks to provide “a high-level overview of the science around PFAS and how it intersects with the major public health threat posed by COVID-19.”

The report takes a closer look at how PFAS exposures:

• Lower resistance to infectious diseases.

• Reduce vaccine effectiveness.

• Create immune system risks to the general population
